I recently purchased several different Stanley Rolling Tool Chest. The 24 Gal was damaged in shipping. That should tell anyone the quality. It didn’t survive a 200 Mike trip by FedEx.Next I received 2 50 Gal Chests. ( I had a 2007 version that has thousands of hard miles and still in excellent shape). These 2 new units are not as heavy material but I got them off the web for only $65 each free ship. What a bargain. The next unit was the Stanley 15 Gal that I ordered from Tool Max and well when the package arrived inside was a DeWalt 15 gal chest. Well it turns out Tool Max goes by the colors. So DeWalt and Stanley is a 50/50 chance you’ll get what you ordered. The alphabet hasn’t been implemented yet to reading is only optional at Tool Max. (Where the managers are all Real Tools). The DeWalt unit was better is material and the single handed open / closing latch. The problem for sellers, especially like Tool Max is once you screw up a customers order, Now the customer takes the time they should have initially and goes searching for the very best deal and well that very best deal are the DeWalt Tough Box Systems when it comes to price and functionality and best of all if you search you’ll find them for less $.So Stanley 50 gal at $65 is the best deal. Not as rugged but for my use just right.15 Gal chest DeWalt $55 or less free ship.DeWalt Tough Box Systems Various sizes and functionality.Doesn’t take up a lot of room. Rolls easy. Good handle for pulling it behind you. Latch has a spring in it so it stays latched.Used for nail guns, nails, oil, and tools, very organized and easy to move from shop to tool trailer, NO LIFTING!!!This is a really good tool box. I can fit 7 - dewalt 20v max brushless tools inside if packed properly. Dewalt sawzall, angle grinder, oscillating multi tool, 7 1/4" circular saw, impact drill and half in drill, dewalt led flashlight (all without batteries will fit) the tray is nice and I can also carry some extra accessories to the tools (blades and bits and such) as well as a lock and cable to secure it when not in use. Mine is laid out and carries a basic jobsite in 1 box. I carry my batteries all separately. I only wish there was more tray or small accessory item storage but am very pleased with how well it works.I love this! It holds all of my bigger tools and I can stack my other tool boxes on top. It’s tough and rugged and has quite-a-bit of space. I looked at several others, and this is perfect! My husband had me purchase these for him so he can keep his tools organized and with him when going back and forth from home to our barns/greenhouse. He loves them and I probable will purchase more when he needs its. The only downside is if you leave them open and it rains (which he has done). Everything was ok except the batteries. Hahaha.. he killed them. Seriously we would purchase these again and probably will when he had need of them.Arrived very quickly....I purchased for second time. The first DeWalt rolling tool box was purchased for our travels with our travel trailer. The tool box fit nicely in the bed of our truck and we were able to carry the tools we needed on the road as we traveled for months across the US. The second purchase was when we decided to downsize and needed a tool box that was mobile (it rolls on sturdy wheels), roomy (we can carry all necessary tools) and handy (it's shelf can be removed and placed on pull out handle). It is sturdy, well made, easy to move from place to place...and did not roll around in the bed of our truck when we traveled.I wanted something large enough to handle my straps and essential tools without being too large to haul under the tonneau cover of my pickup truck. This fits the bill perfectly!
